Lesson 2 – Hacker’s Targets

In this second lesson of our “How to Become an Hacker” we deal about the most important targets than Hackers have and why they have this targets in their activities. All this because the target of our activities is always the most important thing, not only if we want to become an Hacker, but in everything in life.
The Target in life is always the most important thing.
Without a target we couldn’t get anything.
The Hacker’s target is can be intended in the IP term.
This term stands for Internet Address. I can figure out that you are wandering about the IP term and what’s the reason the IP could be the Hacker’s target.
Obviously the term its self is not the target but the target is what it means instead; in practice it (the IP, Internet Address) is a unique identifier representing a computer on Internet. In particular the IP represents the target computer that you (for example) want to attack.
For example think about the address of a building where you want to go: the address is the identifier of the building. So, we can compare the building address and the IP: the building address can be seen as the IP and the building can be seen as the computer to attack.
Another example is the telephone number. Every telephone has a number where you can call it. So, we can compare the telephone number with the IP and the telephone with the computer that you want to attack.
So, the first information an attacker needs to attack a computer, is computer’s IP. In effect the IP is the most important thing a Hacker needs to begin.
If you want to make test, you can try to obtain you IP address using following instructions:
Obtain your IP on Windows
If you want to obtain your IP on Windows you have to press the “Start” button then “Run” and in the appeared box write “cmd.exe”. Press Enter and a black box will appear to you. In that black window write “ipconfig” and then press Enter and your IP will appear to you.
Obtain your IP on Linux
If you want to obtain your IP on Linux you have to open the console (if you don’t know where the console is then make a comment) and then write “/sbin/ifconfig” and then press Enter. In this way the IP will appear to you.
Obtain your IP on Mac OSX
If you want to obtain your IP on Mac OSX you have to open the console (if you don’t know where the console is then make a comment) and then write “/sbin/ifconfig” and then press Enter. In this way the IP will appear to you.
Now that you know how to obtain your IP address you are at a very good point in becoming an Hacker!
Of course, you need yet a few of knowledge before becoming one of the greatest worldwide expert of Hacking, but if you want to do it, then you will get it!
